Derteano Group LLC ("Derteano," "we") operates Derteano Global. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Data we collect
- Site usage: technical logs (approximate IP via Cloudflare, country/ region for editorial segmentation, language and region cookies).
- Waitlist: email address if you opt in voluntarily.
- Push alerts: Web Push subscription endpoint and preferences (minimum magnitude, interests) when you enable seismic notifications.
- Analytics: aggregated events if measurement scripts are enabled on the site.
How we use data
To publish the brief, personalize regional signals, deliver critical alerts, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Third parties
We use infrastructure providers (e.g. Cloudflare, Supabase) and public data sources (GDELT, USGS, GDACS). Their policies govern their services.
Retention and security
We retain push subscriptions until you unsubscribe or they expire. We apply reasonable safeguards; no system is perfectly secure.
Your rights
You may revoke browser notifications, clear local cookies, and request access or deletion by emailing privacy@derteano.com.
Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 16.
